It’s February and that means Valentine’s day is soon. A day to celebrate the one you love, whether that may be a significant other or just celebrating yourself. Not sure what to do, well here are some ideas.
Enjoy a Jozi Train Trip
On the 11th Feb, join Joburg’s Own Steam Train on a trip to Magaliesburg. The train ride has so many specials going and promises to be a date to remember. There is the option of relaxing and unwinding in the train spa, get a hand and foot massage or a head, neck and shoulder message, or both! There will be a professional photographer on board, to document the day and of course leaving you with special pics to remember the day. Take pics with the steam train on the platform, in the train and at the picnic venue, where you will stop for lunch. You can also order the valentines day hamper where a bottle of champagne and some sweet treats can be enjoyed on the ride.

Bolton Rd Dinner
If you are looking to have a lovely dinner with your special person then I would suggest heading to Bolton Road Collection. Their head chef, Andrew Green has created a special menu especially for the day. Choose from a 2 course or 3 course dinner. Just remember bookings are essential.
Party: GLB and Fox Junction present, Valentines Prom
Oh to be young and in love. If you want to party it up on Valentines then head to The Good Luck Bar to watch Georgetown Band. Tickets are R550 per couple or R275 if you single.
Tickets include a welcome cocktail, market style craft food dinner and you get a fun night out.
Enjoy a Night In
Treat yourself to a fun pre planned date. I have used Date Factory and it was so much fun to spend a lovely evening together, at home, with fun little games and activities to do through the evening. You basically order a themed box and you can enjoy a date in the comfort of your home.
